Hello,

I have staff members setup as local admins on their laptops using GPO and restricted groups. They are all a member of stafflocaladmin which is a member of the administrators group on the machine. When they try to install software it brings up a message about no disk space available when there clearly is. If I log on as a local administrator user the software installs as normal.

I have checked that the stafflocaladmin group is a member of the administrators group on the machine.

Has anyone come across this?

Thanks,

Rob

Not seen that before.

We use Restricted groups all over te place for same sort of reasons. Can the staff members browse the C drive in Windows Explorer??

Are you using any management tools and what OS are the clients?

Staff can browse to the C drive. All clients are Windows 8.1 Enterprise - no other management tools are in place.
