An opportunity has arisen for an ICT Mobile Technician to cover the Birmingham region with Oasis Community Learning, one of the largest Academy sponsors in the UK. This role will ensure the smooth running of ICT systems over several sites to facilitate teaching, learning, administration and Leadership.The successful candidate will need to have a keen approach to customer service and have the ability to identify incidents and set key priorities. You will be liaising with the national Service Desk team, the Regional Service Delivery Manager and external providers/manufactures to facilitate in the resolution of service requests.This role demands strong knowledge of Windows 7/XP, basic Windows Server 2008 administration, and experience of Microsoft Deployment Services, internet filtering and safeguarding technologies is advantageous.As the successful candidate will be required to travel between local academy sites in the Birmingham area providing support and advice, it is essential that you own your own car and hold a valid, full, clean UK/EU driving licence.If you are a self-motivated team player, who is strongly task driven, then we would love to hear from you.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a national ICT team which has recently invested 3.5 million pounds in IT systems.
