Quite ridiculous isn't it... (and yet I keep watching it... even with the ridiculous story lines and horrendous acting...)

I particularly thought their ability to recreate the entire circumstances of a murder just by using the gyroscope in the murderer and victims phones was the lowlight so far.

Yep same here - though I don't know how much more of it I can stomach...

Hahaha!

Just watched that episode last night and both the wife and I were going "Aye right!"

Can't see it making Season 2.

I thought CSI:Miami got bad towards the end, but Cyber is just hilarious.

Indeed... Wonder if they'll even pick it up for a whole season... We all expect these things to be a little beyond the pale, but it's down to execution as well, and they don't even pull that off. If you put it against shows like The Following or Scorpion, both unrealistic as well, but easily enjoyable if you put rational thought to the side for a moment, it just really shows up how bad the acting and execution is in Cyber...

It's almost car crash TV now, have to watch it to see what they'll pull out of the hat next time... Have we had the episode where the microwave is reading it's owners thoughts based on electromagnetic waves and reporting back to the psychopathic head of some conventional oven retailer yet?

To me, Scorpion is far superior. Yes, a lot of it is unrealistic, but then so is so much TV and film these days, but it's about making you believe in it for the 40-odd minutes of the episode, and making you care about the characters. Cyber does none of that, Scorpion does. I'm glad it's been picked up for the second season!

Oh dear god - they've renewed it :dizzy:

It's going to turn into one of those things that you do with your friends. lets have a CSI Cyber cringe fest and see who has to leave the room first. xD

Yet they've cancelled The Following! If it's not "reality" TV or drama aiming for the lowest common denominator, they're not interested!!

Indeed, though The Following seemed to struggle a lot through the first half of Season 3 - and probably had too low a rating by the time of the all important May Sweepstakes

Cancelled 2 shows I actually liked, Forever and Stalker

Glad Blacklist has been renewed :)

With you all of these... Stalker was a bit ropey but a good show - the network obviously weren't happy with it and it would disappear for a few weeks then come back for a week..

ABC renewed a load of shows I like: http://www.edugeek.net/forums/tv-movies/153475-abc-renewals-some-good-news-darkest-days.html ! Maybe I'm getting less passionate about what I watch, but these days I usually understand why shows have been cancelled (low ratings, normally) and I'm not usually fussed even if it's something I liked. For instance, while the whole of Chateau LeMarchand loved "Selfie" I could see why it didn't catch on.

That said, there should be a law that shows have to write season finales that aren't complete cliffhangers.

Anyone started watching this?

It's laughable.. It's actually making this scene look believably Hi-Tech:

Ironically it's not the dubious tech I find disappointing but the dodgy acting.
