Hi - just had a 'phone call from Capita Education, North Wales asking me if I am free for a contract in Tarporley, Cheshire

 

I was there before Christmas which is why they contacted me but I have a permanent place now.

Dunno if there may be a permanent place available - but you could ring them and ask??

I can comment quite authoritatively on this...

 

We've just poached their Technician to start in June (he was permanent at the time we believe), so it's possible they're looking for a contract to tide them over, potentially leading to a permanent position...

This is most definitely the case, I used to work for them about 3 years ago and started there on a contract role. I know my predecessor was also through recruited on a contract basis. 2 other technicians that were recruited when i was there were also done through the same method, both of which ended up on full term contracts afterwards. they like the flexibility of agency's as if your not up to the mark they can let you go and get someone else in a few days. (got told this on my first day and has never left me) but all in all a nice place to work. only other thing to mention is they look after the IT for feeder primary schools so they many want you to attend them
