We have recently moved to a Dell Sonicwall NSA which on t he whole, works very well. The cloudwebfiltering server is on .253 and the dell NSA on .254. Two issues when going out through .254, firstly, the network icon in systray always show No Internet connection. Clearly there is as we have Internet access. Secondly, we have moved to Office 365 and if you open online Word (for example) and try to save to Onedrive, it tells you there is no Internet connection. I suspect the two will be linked. As soon as you route through .254 all is OK.

Has anyone seen this behaviour before? I'm guessing I'll have to put a load of domains into the CFS exception list? Google came up with a load of MS sites that should be added but that was for Office not even opening an app.

Mostly it's not an issue as it doesn't effect users yet. For us in the IT dept. I have set IP reservations and pointed them to a specific router IP. But I can see it rearing its ugly head before long as staff move more towards 365 online.

Any thoughts?

Many thanks

Andy
