I wanted to hear what things you guys wonder about that spook you a little. Bit hard to explain but you'll get what I mean with these - You'll never see your own face, only as a picture in an image or a reflection, but a reflection is mirrored so it's not accurate and any picture that is taken is not being processed by your own brain so how can you believe what the processor in the camera is showing you - You never see anything. You only see what your eyes tell your brain. It could be totally wrong, and so could every sense. Maybe you hear, see and feel things that aren't there, or you don't hear, see and feel things that are there. How would you know? How do you know I ever wrote this? Maybe your eyes are misreading it, or your brain is interpreting it entirely differently than it was originally. Maybe.

It's a whole theory about how you can't prove that anything except yourself* exists because everything you do, no matter how you interact with the world, is all handled through your brain, nerves, etc. You can never interact directly with something, your brain always has to perceive and interpret, and because of that, the only thing that you can prove to exist is yourself. Nobody else - in fact nothing else - can be proven to exist because you are reliant on your brain to perceive it and your brain might be wrong. Mixes in well with Cogito Ergo Sum and the Theory of Inverted Spectrum . Really mashes your head if you spend too long thinking about it. * You can only prove yourself - or at least your cognitive ability - exists because you directly experience it. The colour that you saw might be what I call Blue, but you would call it red because that's the colour you had always seen, and always called it red. Neither of us would know that we were seeing, in essence, different things. And the world keeps on turning.

I go on to think about how lonely it is in your own brain (except for the rainbow unicorns and flying guinea pigs) and that you are always alone as nobody ever knows what you are thinking. Then I go and drink gin And wear ALL the colours together

This is basically my go-to response as I have a friend that playfully 'believes' that everybody is a figment of his imagination (and if he cannot see you, or any object in question, it no longer exists)
