[mdt] Copy default profile

I have been working on this off and on for months now and I need some help.

I have a Windows 7 x86 machine that I put into audit mode. I make all the changes under the admin account. I also deleted all profiles besides the built in guest. I then ran /sysprep /oobe /shutdown. To my understanding while using MDT you do NOT have to put the copy profile to TRUE in the capture phase. I then PXE boot to MDT litetouch and run a capture task sequence (I disabled the sysprep step in the TS).

Now the captured image is on my deployment share with MDT using 2008 R2. I then create a deploy TS. Since I cannot edit the unattend.xml for an x86 image on an x64 machine, I modified it on my local computer and copied that image back over to my network share and imported that specific image. I set the CopyProfile to true.

I then run the TS to deploy the image BUT the copy profile does not work. ANY help will be appreciated!!

 

***ALSO I am trying to add local user accounts during deployment. I put in a run command line TS and point it to execute a .vbs file with the following syntax:

net user /add Student mypassword

net localgroup administrators Student /add

net user /add Teacher mypassword

net localgroup administrators Teacher /add

 

Is this the correct way?
