papercut virtual printer permissions

I have got follow me printing working ok to virtual printers which then release to xerox copiers.

However it only works for admins.

Staff/students it goes through and then says access denied in printer queue unless I add the staff member to domain admins group.

Staff/students can print direct to the copiers from same account/machine if they are added but not to the virtual printers.

Struggling to see where permissions are different on the virtual and actual printers.

Anyone come across this or any ideas?

Windows 7 machine to server 2012 R2 print server.

Am answering my own question here to help others - if you change the driver on the virtual queues to Papercut global postscript driver then all works ok.

You shouldn't need to use the PaperCut global driver, others should work unless you have some local restrictions.

Don't really understand why it works but it does - if you have the xerox driver on the virtual printer it does not work yet a user can print direct to a xerox copier using the same xerox driver.

As it is working gonna leave it as got other things to work on :-)
