This may go badly wrong.

 

...A Hollywood version of Doctor Who could be extremely profitable for the BBC - but risks ruining the brand if it is done badly....

 

It could be timed to coincide with the 60th anniversary, given the currently indicated timelines, and looking at what Hollywood did with the last anniversary I am not holding out much hope.

 

Perhaps they will get it right this time?
