agoodwin Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 (edited) Hi folks, I have been tasked with finding a wireless B&W laser printer that can be placed on a cart so that students with iPads can airprint to them. The students don't need color printing or any extra functions, I'm just looking for a reliable, affordable, wireless printer that supports airprint. Can you recommend a model for this task? Are there any specific models I should avoid? Thanks! I'm also wondering how well these printers handle a classroom full of students all trying to airprint at the same time. Any thoughts? agoodwin Posted April 10, 2015 Author Posted April 10, 2015 So far, the Brother HL-L2340DW looks like a good candidate.
ZeroHour Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Brother were a good brand, not sure how they are in recent years as we ended up moving to HP (mostly political reasons) but we did love them before with split drum/toner to help save costs.
agoodwin Posted April 10, 2015 Author Posted April 10, 2015 In a previous job, I was working for a company that used Dell branded Brother printers. They held up pretty well. I'm leaning toward that model but I want to make sure I'm not missing something.
