NetSupport Tutor problem.

Hi.

Ive got a bit of a wierd problem that i wouldnt mind sorting out:

On my workstation, where i use NSS for an overall view of everything (compared to the tutor machines that only do the room they are in), if i goto view a client, the screen is blank until i share or control it.

I was told a while back is was because of the video drivers i was using.

So i tryed about 10 or so drivers for the then nVidia card i had in the system. No difference at all.

I changed the card to an ATI one, as my previous workstation worked fine with its 9800, but again, even after multiple driver changes, the problem still persisted.

 

Can anyone shed some light on how to fix this bug?

Its not a major problem, but it is annoying.

Just to clarify, do you mean the thumb nails in monitor mode are blank or when you initially goto to view the machine it is blank?

 

Do other NSS Tutor's have the same problem? Are other Tutor's connected at the same time as you?

When i goto view.

Just my workstation does it. All the other tutor machines are fine.

And it happens wether the other tutor machines are viewing the client as well, or if its just me.

Hi mate,

 

We have this problem and it turned out to be the custom Screensaver with our school logo on. If i view a client after the screen saver had kicked in, it is all black.

 

Do you have a custom Screensaver?
