[video] Accident on roundabout - not quite sure how it got there!

Lot of confusion on the roundabout on my way home on Friday.

Still don't know how the car got in the position it did....

Roundabouts are always favorite for strange accidents. especially as once you hit the kerb on them anything can happen!

What dashcam are you using BTW?

I get on the motorway at that junction on my way home.

I must have passed a few minutes before you, not long after it happened as there were no emergency services in attendance yet. I also couldn't work out the geometry: only the overturned car appeared to be damaged.

Yeah, that and a lot of motorists don't seem to understand how they work (especially the "mini" roundabouts...)

I couldn't make out if anyone else was involved cos of the emergency services screening it off by the time I got there..

It looked like it had come at the roundabout in a straight line, jammed the anchors on and flipped end to end, yet the road layout doesn't allow for that.. so no idea what happened...

There is a roundabout near me and only in one direction about 20m past there is always a set of tyre tracks in the grass at the side of the road leading upto some trees where people who have left it (going too fast most likely) come a cropper when they put on too much lock the other way and lose contol.
