I’m not sure how long this has been the case, but You Tube now sets auto play as default. Once switched off it does seem to stay switched off, but it might be worth alerting schools as the play list can be a bit random depending on what you were playing in the first place. Does anyone know if you can force a change through the filtering system? Now I am pretty sure that filtering isn't the solution and the answer, if there is one, will probably be device dependent. However, does anyone have a solution? Or does YouTube for education not have this autoplay feature or....

According to the website below, it is possible to disable autoplay by setting a cookie... http://googlesystem.blogspot.co.uk/2014/12/youtubes-updated-autoplay-experiment.html Another way to do it would be to install an extension like NextVid Stopper. I had a look on our Smoothwall proxy and it doesn't look like it's possible to create a custom content modification policy that adds/modifies the cookie above. Edited March 21, 2015 by Arthur 1
