Icon file in the EduGeek Joomla Package - Doesn't show in IE

Hi guys

 

I have inserted the schools logo as the icon for the EduGeek Joomla Package and it shows fine in FF but for IE it doesn’t appear. I think it could be the size or resolution of the icon.

 

Please can someone put some light onto the subject?

how did you create the (fav)icon?

I used a software package and to save my life i can't remember the name i will have to check tomorrow.

 

It appears fine in firefox though but internet explorer is doesn't want to play ball

I have used http://www.favicon.cc to make my icon and it shows in IE 7 & FF but not IE 6. It's not a big issue at the moment though.
