InterwebsGuy Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Does anyone have any recommendations for companies that could repair a MacBook Pro? I'd be interested in alternatives to Apple themselves due to the cost. The device has some kind of slight liquid damage to the keyboard... while the device works fine, the keyboard does not and probably needs replacing. I don't really fancy attempting it myself. Cheers people.
jallsop Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 TBH I have sourced used parts off of t'interweb, and fix it myself. Tend to find the parts easy to find as Apple only make a handful of products so dropped ones or ones with faulty mainboards are easy to buy, and they're not too challenging to disassemble, unlike some other laptops I can mention (Asus, Acer cough cough) 1
Arthur Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Does anyone have any recommendations for companies that could repair a MacBook Pro? In the Netherlands or the UK? If the latter, Amsys, KRCS or Western and Albion are all good. 1

According to iFixIt everything has to come out, and I'm really not so good with tear-downs and the hundreds of tiny screws. - - - Updated - - - In the Netherlands or the UK?
