Hi Folks,

I'm looking at implementing some touch screen panels around my school to allow students to turn up, input their name and bring up their timetable.

I've asked Capita but havnt recieved a reply.

Short of creating a UI and some VB code for this....do any of you know of a way to implement such a system?

Thanks

~Looks at Calendar~ Ah... funny enough was just talking about pots of money on the way into work. Top of my head, you could export the timetables then write an app easy enough. Might be something SalamanderSoft could help out with. I would argue what's the point, might want to slap in some sort of auditing so you can produce some nice report of usage to provide its actually being used 6 months down the line when you've got no money or working computers but a pretty touchscreen device :p

It would have to be an interface that requires no login, requirements are buttons or a list of names to choose from.

We didnt renew SLG some years ago.

Hmm, not sure it'd be that easy if you're using alt curriculum stuff, but you can run a report by student to see what lessons they have then.

Easy way would be to dump it into excel, and use slicers to select year group, etc
