WDS "The parameter is incorrect" While Adding Driver to Boot.wim

I've been googling around for quite a bit trying to figure this out. I'm trying to add a network driver to a boot image for WDS. I keep getting "the parameter is incorrect" after the image unmounts. I've tried various "fixes" involving deleting temp files and removed registry keys but nothing... when I did get the temp files deleted, it would not even let me start the adding process for the boot file so I had to remove it and re-add it and got back to the same state I was in.

 

Help please?
