Robadob Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 It seems that I have inherited someone else's problem... a dozen or so members of staff have all been sharing 1 Apple ID on their school iPads, meaning that there may be more installations of apps than have been paid for. How can I see how many devices a particular app has been installed on by the Apple ID? I've already removed the payment method from the Apple ID to prevent the problem escalating.
Brimstone Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Really the only way to check on this would be to log into iTunes using that Apple ID and have a look at the purchase history to see which apps have been bought. There is no way to audit devices as these apps belong to the Apple ID that was used to download them, so you will need to look at each iPad. Bear in mind that any apps on these devices should also be removed and the Apple ID password changed as just removing payment method will not stop them downloading free apps.
