trying to create an updated msi for acrobat 11.0.10

Downloaded the msp patch and trying to apply it to my existing adobe reader msi. I seem to be able to achieve 2 results either the cab file is missing acroext.exe or at the moment error applying the transforms (I don't have any at this point im just testing on a single pc).

MSP file applied with msiexec /a adoberdr11000_en_us.msi /p adberdrupd11010.msp (created the msi but msiexec /a on the original adobereader file

that part seems to work (throws up no errors) but it just wont install once patched

any ideas

Just to clarify. Are you trying to patch Acrobat or Adobe Reader? Your thread title says Acrobat? I'm guessing it's Reader though? :)

If you are going to be deploying Adobe Reader via SCCM, the Setup.exe method described in this post is a lot easier.

Was the existing MSI patched with an older MSP previously or are you using the v11.0.00 MSI?
