NEC Interactive Projector

Hi All

 

Has anyone any experience with NEC interactive projectors that they could share? In particular the NEC UM280Xi or the NEC UM280Wi?

 

I'm looking at a couple and they seem pretty cheap from various places when you compare them to the likes of Epson which has me intrigued but cautious at the same time.

 

Tales of good and bad appreciated!

I have used the Epson ones and really like them, I too would be interested to see how these compare as they have an attractive price point.

I have used NEC projectors and quite like them.

 

I am wondering if we will start to see a decline in interactive boards or if the manufactures will join up with a projector firm to offer a smart interactive projector?

NEC are a great, well established brand and we have used various interactive models at trade shows etc with no issues. I've not personally seen one in the classroom, but wouldn't see why there would be any issues.
