Cannot Delete File - You Need Permission From.... yourself.

I'm doing some housekeeping

 

and I'm coming across this error....

 

 

I'm logged on as jhughes and I'm the owner. It isn't open in any processes... why can't I delete it? I also can't move it or rename it.

 

Any ideas on how I can delete this file? It's a fragment of 2mail program (which isn't installed on this server!)

IT'S OK!

 

I renamed the folder it was in to x, then moved x into the root, then I could delete it! There was a long string of folder names, so who knows.

If it was a very long string of names it might have been over the character limit for the path, if so you can get all sorts of weird errors when you try and delete things.
