Webster whiteboard software

I've installed the latest version of Webster 3.5.1.6 and have noticed some strange issues. Number one is that if i try to change the pen color on the toolbar the whiteboard disappears leaving just the windows desktop displayed, i have to click the yellow arrow symbol on the left of the toolbar to get the whiteboard back. If i use the pen buttons on the side of the physical whiteboard the color changes just fine.

 

Anyone seen this before?
