Any recommendations? My PC runs wirelessly at the moment but the speed is really slow. I would like an adapter with a wifi extender built in as well though as the wireless signal to my phone etc in this part of the house is fairly poor as well. Not too bothered about the extra sockets some of them have though.

I have 4 of the Solwise PL 600 version. Only been in about a month, but flawless so far - Solwise price to performance seems better than the other brands.

Good choice I think :)

I've tried 2 sets - 1st one didn't work at the school I wanted it to - teacher used it at home- physically failed after a few months (belkin)

Just before xmas I tried one in my house (TP-link) - got very slow connection unless in same room (which defeated the purpose of replacing a WiFi bridiging link) so gave up and ran CAT5 around outside of house

PS OCR and Voice recognition doesn't work for me either every time I've tried them

I've used delovo powerline adaptors for over 5 years. I've had one fail - unfortunately one of the more expensive ones that has a built in WAP, but the others have been good. They used to be able to form a link out to my man cave which means going though a couple of consumer units and 40 meters of cable. I think the neighbour bought some and uses them which caused mine to stop bridging that gap (it was a big ask of them!). So all in all, I've had good service out of them.
