themightymrp Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 I'm experimenting with creating meeting rooms in Office 365 so that staff can book into certain spaces. I'm having what I think is a problem. I create a new meeting in outlook, go to show rooms, pick my test room. All ok so far, it shows all the available time slots (everything currently). I pick my time/date add another person as an attendee and submit. All looks good, it adds it to my calendar and the other person gets an invite email. However, when I view the calendar for "testroom@blahblahblah" it shows as completely blank!? Is this normal? Do I have to set some specific mailbox permissions so that I can see the current bookings? Cheers
JRowley Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 I believe this (the following) is correct, though this was how it worked in Exchange 2010 and room mailboxes, may be different for O365 Meeting Rooms. If the person setting up the meeting doesn't have permission to edit/create meetings on the target calendar then I believe an email is sent to the rooms mailbox so that whoever administers it can accept the meeting.
Megmclean Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Here's a piece that walks you through adding a meeting room calendar in O365. Should cover all you need to know. Handy screenshots throughout. https://robinpowered.com/blog/how-to-add-meeting-room-calendars-in-office-365/ 1
