Theldron Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Hello, We have installed WordPress on a server to be used by our students as an intranet page. At the moment the URL for the intranet is http:///intranet (which is the folder path in IIS 7.5). But i dont want the students to see the server name, how can I change the URL from http:///intranet to http://studentintranet ? Any help would be appreciated. Sean
Norphy Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 On the most basic level, all you need to do is set up a CNAME in your local DNS which points at the server which is hosting your WordPress site. There may be some configuration to be done in WordPress afterwards, I don't know enough about it to say what though
