Gardinho Posted February 25, 2015 Author Posted February 25, 2015 We have 2 core switches in a stack. All the edge switches plug into an interface on each switch. Each switch also has 2 PSU's. If one fails there is no network downtime at all. Is there a decent guide to doing this?
FN-GM Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Is there a decent guide to doing this? It depends on the type of switch. What switches are we talking about here?

sllorep Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 We run a HP 5412zl (J8698A) as our core. We don't have a spare, but we do take backups of all switches during every holiday.
bossman Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 @FN-GM You have full mesh topology akin to what banks and the like have, very expensive though but if you have the budget do it. I have seen your setup and am envious at the amount of investment which has been input.
