Sunnyknight Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Not as many factions, but blooming heck is it better in the campaign. I'm Ostrogoth (mainly because i love their archers). LET THE MAYHEM BEGIN!
DalekSec Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Keep meaning to play total war, always been a Age of empires or starcraft kinda guy
ICTDirect_Dave Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Started preloading it last night. I totally plan on being some Scandiwegian Vikings! Well until they bring out some DLC for Romano British! I've been waiting for those since the first Rome expansion packs introduced them years ago!
ZeroHour Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 I didn't even realise another was on the way let alone its actually out! Less factions hopefully mean faster turn times late game now.
Sunnyknight Posted February 17, 2015 Author Posted February 17, 2015 I thought there were less factions, turns out there's quite a lot lol. Also, HUNS ARE B.....................S!!!!! I lost my campaign on turn 11 because of them as Ostrogoths on Very Hard difficulty. This total war version is the bees knees, and it's not easy (coming from a total war vet). Believe me. As a migrating faction, you need to have planned out EVERY move from the start, otherwise you'll be in deep poop. You've been warned. Now moving onto Sassanid empire. Pray i live past number 11!
ICTDirect_Dave Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 haha! I popped it on briefly last night (it's more resource-hungry than rome2 by the looks). They've taken the Barbarian Invasion Expansion concept from the first Rome and refined everything, it's brilliant
ICTDirect_Dave Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 /hovers over purchase button.... Presssss it.... Edit: Though if you want Vikings, you'll have to pay extra... They were free if you preordered.
ZeroHour Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Right now its £22.99 on Total War: Attila CD Key - GameKeysNow.com
ZeroHour Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Bonus! I paid £30 with the DLC. I would always check out Buy CD Keys Online - GameKeysNow.com before buying from Steam, they sell steam keys for most games (except Ubi!) and generally its £5 less than steam with all the preorder perks normally too! Also a UK company with a real address!
