Unofficial app brings PS4 Remote Play to unsupported Android devices

PS4 Remote Play is now possible on a number of non-Sony Android smartphones!

Sony’s official PS4 Remote Play app allows owners of supported Xperia handsets to stream games from their console.

An unofficial version of the app brings this functionality to a wide range of non-Sony smartphones – including the Galaxy S3.

An on-screen virtual button overlay means that no peripherals are required, although controller support is offered – albeit with an extra layer of technical tinkering.

As the app is unofficial it’s not as simply as simply downloading it from Google Play, but there are guides out there for those with the technical nous ;)

I am not sure about posting a link...so I will not! but you guys are all clever enough to find it yourselves!

Unfortunately it's not great on the Sony Z2 even on local wifi so i can't imagine this will be great either. Unlike using the Remote Play feature of the Vita, the lag is noticeable which makes most games a frustrating experience.

I've not had any issues at all with Lag on the vita, it's fantastic apart from the lack of shoulder buttons. Although I do connect direct with the vita.

I just wish the vita had proper DS4 support, glad this does although I cant stand on screen buttons on touch screens, tactile feedback wins every time.
