Fujitsu Lifebook Feedback (E734)

Recommended Posts

Posted

We run a 1:1 laptop scheme for our students.

One of the laptops being proposed is the Fujitsu Lifebook E734.

I am just wondering if anyone else has had any feedback as a home user or on a large roll out of Fujitsu's in general and specifically if anyone has used the "E" range?

Thank you in advance.

In our school we usually go for Fujitsu hardware as there after care is brilliant, sometimes they do offer 5 years on-site warranty on some products and also the standard 3 years. Haven't used any laptops in the 'E' range but we do have E410 desktops and 'A' series laptops. Never had too much trouble with the Fujitsu's either and when we do we just log a call and they usually send out an engineer same week. Don't know where your school is situated but as were down in the south west we use a company called TME (TME) for our hardware needs as their a Fujitsu partner.

Hope this helps.

This does help. Thank you. I am glad to hear the positivity.

We would be buying through our existing partner so that repairs would be covered by our regular engineer.

In my organisation, we are pretty staunch supporters of Fujitsu laptops. Not much experience with the E-series, but we've rolled-out three consecutive batches of S-series devices in the past seven years (alongside Dell and Acer equivalents which, sadly, were nowhere near their Fujitsu counterparts in terms of stability and longevity). Solid performance and great after-sales service keep Fujitsu at the top of our minds, despite the higher cost of ownership.

We have the A series laptops as well as SFF PCs and I have to say that we have had few problems. Support is very good and the build quality is robust.
