DrCheese Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Has any one moved exclusively to display screens (i.e standard non touch TVs) instead of projectors for classrooms yet? If so, Which brand/size did you go for? I'm starting to loathe spending £180+ on new bulbs for projectors when they die, TVs aren't that much more expensive now!

DrCheese Posted February 10, 2015 Author Posted February 10, 2015 Ideally these need to be fairly tough, i.e like the Promethean activetouch boards at BETT, rather than standard TVs.
bladedanny Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 We've got a Promethean ActivPanel, it is a touch screen and costs about the same as a board and projector setup but it is good. The nursery kids and staff love it.

Tricky_Dicky Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 We tried a few cheaper brands but now Promethean have brought those out we are using them and they are excellent. Really nice looking panels and work very well. The new versions even have network and RS232 control.
