Okay, I know there's no right or wrong answer here, so I'm just hoping to get a sense of what "most" schools do...

We are in the planning stages of launching BYOD to our students later this year. We are in an affluent area, so for many of our students, this won't be a problem (86% have use of a tablet at home, 97% have smart phones), but some families will obviously struggle with the cost. We will set up an assisted purchase/leasing scheme of some form, allowing families to spread the cost. We are prepared to buy / subsidise for some students, but don't know which students to offer this to and which not - FSM? FSM6? Some other list? Families known to be struggling financially? Families who approach the school for help?

I'd love to hear how other schools approach this issue...
