Certificates

Hi all,

 

Our certificates are expiring soonish (Wildcard and Exchange UCC),

 

This isn't something that I've had experience with before, or helpfully wasn't documented at all (Can't even find any old emails regarding the current ones!).

 

Is there a way to find our where they're installed?

Run certmgr.msc on the server that deals with your Exchange should be able to see them but I could be wrong, sorry can't be more help and be careful.

I can see our mail.domain.county.sch.uk on there and also the wild card - can this be installed in multiple locations? (It appears on our Exchange, TS server and I'm rooting around to see if it's anywhere else..)

That wildcard could be installed on any of your servers that are using HTTPS... be careful.

 

If you're doing any wizardry or authentication through firewalls such as Sophos or Forefront you'll need to change the certificates on those too!
