Whatever you do, buy one stick and test it first. The OptiPlex 790s I have here don't seem to like being fitted with aftermarket RAM. (Tried Crucial, Hynix, Corsair). I'll be ordering more ram from dell for those particular models.

If it's ram upgrades you want, drop me a line, I've got loads of tested ram that get pulled out of Dell, HP, & Lenovo business machines. It should be cheaper than going to manufacturer or getting some from Crucial.

 

So long as it's all matching sticks, those Dells should have no problem with none-Dell memory, though 12800 is a waste as they'll only clock it down to 10600 anyhow
