Lenovo Thinkpad X240 (or very similar) Feedback / Experiences

Crikey they're not cheap!!

My experience of the X series of Thinkpads is that they've been getting better as the've revised the model. X200 and X201 weren't great but from the X220 onwards they've really nailed the design! Great little laptops :)

And tough too!

£800 quid for an i3 and 4gb RAM, no thank you !

We obviously don't pay that price. Our package for all things included (warranties / insurance, case etc) is more around the £500-£600.

Thank you for your advice that they're great little laptops. With our testing, its what we have thought too!

I still use my lenovo X121e at home daily - it's about 3 years old, I've upgraded the ram and fitted a SSD and it's still going great. I'm struggling to find a replacement for it

I used an x230 as my main computer for quite a while. Very well built machine. My only complaints were battery life and screen resolution which are both things fixed (higher res is an option) in the x240.
