File Screening - by groups

Hi Guys,

 

We have a bit of an issue currently were our students are saving Flash Games in our shared Documents Folder. We can't block .swf Files complete because some of the Resources are in .SWF Format, is there a way to block based on groups is the possible in Server 2008 R2 or 2012?

 

I'm looking at restructuring the Student Shared Documents to have subject folders which are read-only for students and then have a Hand-In area where they are only able to write too (will have to drag files onto the folder to put them in) but block .SWF Files from being saved.

 

I know I have most like answered by Own Question but thought maybe someone else might have a better solution.
