haldarulon Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Gamers who pre-order either the physical or digital version of Grand Theft Auto V on PC will get a free game download. Buying the game before February 1st via Rockstar gets one free download from the following selection: Max Payne 3 Max Payne 2 Bully Manhunt GTA: IV GTA: III GTA: San Andreas GTA: Vice City GTA: Episodes from Liberty City Midnight Club II. The game’s Steam pre-order page states that GTA: San Andreas will be the free game for Steam customers. All pre-orders net a $100k in-game cash bonus (split $500k for Story Mode and $500k for GTA Online) while those who order before the beginning of next month will get an additional $300k for GTA Online.
abillybob Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 They can kiss my money goodbye. Waiting over a year for something to be released on PC is just annoying and Rockstar need to up their game imo and I won't be supporting it, bring the game out for everybody at the same time. I'm sick of all this marketing melarky where game producers try to make a game exclusive etc so you have to buy the other console etc...

Orrrr... they're making sure it's a decent port this time and not a repeat of GTAIV? I'd rather wait for a game that works than have a broken game now.
X-13 Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 I'd rather wait for a game that works than have a broken game now. Assassin's Creed: Unity... #NeverForget I may have to see if I can actually run this.
3s-gtech Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 For some reason, I have a good feeling about this. After the GTA IV debacle, they can take much longer so long as it works. I bought GTA IV at RRP for a boxed copy, then again on Steam for convenience, so I've given Rockstar their due even with a bad port. I also own GTA V on PS3, but it just doesn't feel or look right (plus I can only fly planes and helicopters in GTA with a keyboard).
LosOjos Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 I'd love to play it in 4K, but there's no way my rig will handle that. Seriously considering financing a couple of 980s for the task... missus may kill me though, what with the saving for our wedding and all!
abillybob Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 The Talos Principle is a game that plays nicely in 4k and I have a GTX 770.
Arreks Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Assassin's Creed: Unity... #NeverForget I may have to see if I can actually run this. Specs are relatively low, considering the game.. and it's made by the same team who did the Max Payne port so I reckon it'll be good.
CAM Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 It's a PC port at the end of the day so I am going to hold off and wait. See what TB has to say about it first. I have it on PS4 already but such a fun game I'm keen to see it on PC! Since it already has FOV sliders in the console port I expect they already have some idea of what to do for PC.
TurtleMan Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Please don't pre order! Thought people would have learnt their lesson from last year.
