Techdw Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 I have just renewed the Exchange Cert and now when staff access the mail out of school through the web site its goes onto http and says access denied. If I add do Https it works? Any ideas?
gh5000 Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 On the root of the default website (we're in IIS 7 here and presume Exchange installed to the default website) there should be a button called SSL settings click into that and untick require SSL. Apply and restart the website. I'm presuming you already have a http->https redirect that was working before but if not the following article explains how to setup redirection to https://mail.exampledomain.com/owa plus what I described in more detail. How to configure Exchange to redirect OWA HTTP requests to HTTPS requests in IIS 7 The SSL requirement comes back on after exchange updates and probably certificate renewals so it's good to remember this.
