We have a new member of staff with the same first letter of their forename and the exact same surname as a current member of staff before they married and had their surname and username changed (so jbloggs became jsmith, but then down the road some months later, maybe even a year, another jbloggs turned up).

Nothing is broken per se, but the Global Address List in Outlook/Exchange seems to be cached or something, and when using auto-fill to send an email to jbloggs it is being sent to jsmith because I guess the sender's address list hasn't 'refreshed' the current jbloggs (or, in other words, auto-fill is referencing old data).

I can fix this on a per-user basis by manually finding jbloggs in the address list, which presumably updates the record for jbloggs for future auto-fill fun.

I don't suppose anyone knows what may be causing this? The mailboxes and AD accounts for both users are completely separate and correct. I'd rather not tell the few people who this predominantly affects to manually search the address list because they're not too hot with technology.

Thanks!
