Joining a new server to two different domains?

Good morning,

Does anyone know if it is possible to join a fresh server to a network running two different domains which are not joint?

 

I am working in a school with two separate servers:

One for the admin network (server 2008)

One for the curriculum network (server 2003)

 

The networks are not running a vlan, and each server is not linked to the other.

 

The third, new server (server 2012) I would like to add will be for Sophos Antivirus and WSUS duties, so it would need to be running on both networks ideally.

 

Any help on this would be really appreciated!

Not from the Server itself no as it can only belong to one domain at a time

 

What you;ll need to do is setup the appropriate Trust relationship between your two domains

Join the server to a specific domain (eg Admin)

 

If you setup the trust correctly, you should then be able to login to both domains
