Trapper Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 I know someone asks this every now and again when they need one: Who do you use for SSL certs now? I'd prefer not use a self signed one as Chrome will still moan about it, and my Wifi controller functionality can get a bit impaired at the moment. GoDaddy was doing one (as in a single one per account) for £3.99 for one year - solves the problem now - but will be back here in 12 months time. I am considering a wild card from GoDaddy and set aside the £155 a year. As JANET now charges £35+VAT for each one I've got a lot expiring later this year!
fairm010 Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Namecheap here. No problem at all and very reasonably priced.
rickypike Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 I use a wildcard SSL from Go Daddy, have several sites (O365, remote access, parent portal etc) and renewing individual SSL's every 12 months was a real pain, it has also meant we can roll out future stuff without having to purchase a new SSL each time.
InterwebsGuy Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 I've got a Wildcard from Comodo via TheSSLStore which was about £50 per year. Never had an issues with them.
