StewartKnight Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 I don't know about you, but I'm getting fed up with people who only register to advertise their latest product. (I'm not talking about legitimate paying sponsors) So.... what does everyone think to this.... If the post IS spam, everyone emails the spammer and says something to the effect, that, as they chose to advertise in a manner that contravened Edugeek rules, that they (and the schools they represent) will not use any of their services. 4692 emails should get the message across! CyberNerd Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 4692 emails should get the message across! you could end up with a criminal record
mattx Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Won't work. As for adverts on here, I just block them !!
localzuk Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Only if one person sends that many. 4692 different people sending a message saying 'we won't be using you' is completely different. Although, under the Serious Organised Crime Act 2005, harassment can be down to a single email being sent to 2 people in an organisation or 2 emails being sent to one person in an organisation...
