Koldov Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Hi All, Does anyone know of a reason that Airplay on an iPad would pick up one laptop running Airsever and not another? Both laptops are running Airserver (although one is x64 and the other is x86), both are on the same network (wireless VLAN), both versions are up to date. I have moved DNS and FSMO roles to a new server (now the PDC emulator), but I'm not sure Airserver looks at any of that (or cares) - also it still allows one of the laptops to connect to Airplay on the iPad, so I'm not sure it has any relevance... In a fit of desperation (and poor troubleshooting procedure) I turned off the firewall on the laptop for the Domain and also rejoined the network as the laptop was joined to the old WEP and not the recently changed WPA2... So, it's working, but I have no clue why...
