Please can anyone recommend addons for sims such as intouch and discover. These can also be third party.

Before we get flooded with lots of posts on various products, it would be better for you to define what you are looking for or trying to achieve, or better still ask specific questions about products. Depending on what you / your school want, the advice will be different. What really works for one person, isn't necessarily going to make your leadership happy.

 

You'll also probably find plenty of threads here already on various aspects of SIMS and addons, so what you need may already be covered anyway.

 

Discover is free and included, so worth a punt to see what it can do.

We already use discover and emerge but thankyou.

The school are unsure what else they can do so we would like to approach companies and see what they have to offer.

I would suggest going to BETT - Bett Show 2015 - The world's leading learning technology event. I'll bite my tongue about pointing out development should come requirement, not from shiny product demo or spare pot of money. I admit you don't know, what you don't know and how do you find out when the government canned Becta and IT advisors in general, but you should at least be able to have an area that needs to be looked at to form some sort of business requirement.
