Network Manager – Nottingham - £40-45K

Local education trust, covering sites in Nottingham from Primary to Sixth Form, requires an experienced IT Manager with Operational and Strategic experience to manage its estate. You will have responsibility for the entire network serving over 2000 users, IT support, network development, the tech team based in different sites, developing customer service processes and most importantly ensuring the IT function meets the needs of their customers.

 

This is a great opportunity for an experienced IT manager to take control and push through, with support from an external consultant, major changes including server upgrades, virtualisation and updating the desktop environment.

 

Technical knowledge required to manage this role effectively include server 2008/2012, exchange 2007/2010, SQL server, IIS, Sharepoint, SCCM, TMG you may also have experience with VMware, aerohive, Sophos, HP SAN, SIMS and MacOSX.
