Office 365 safari and OneDrive for business

We have OneDrive for business.

 

iMac OSX 10.8.4 Safari version 6.0.5

 

Before anyone says. It is not a folder I am uploading and it is not a zero bite file

 

When trying to upload a file, either by drag and drop or upload I keep getting the error message

 

“We can’t upload folders or empty files.”

 

It works fine on google chrome

 

 

On a windows machine with internet explorer it also works fine using the same file

 

The mac is on the same VLAN so nothing to do this filtering

I don't think Safari plays too well with Office 365. That's all I can think of.

 

I think the only way to upgrade Safari itself is to update the OS to Mavericks or Yosemite.
