APMerry Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 We're looking at Google Apps for education but it would appear that a previous employee has already registered our domain with Google. They've not left any documentation and I have no idea what email address they've used. Is anyone aware of how I can find out whose registered our domain?
IrritableTech Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 With your new application, have you got access to the admin panel yet? If so, you could give them a ring for advice?
APMerry Posted December 3, 2014 Author Posted December 3, 2014 When I tried a new application it told me the domain was already registered. Struggling to access their support system as it asks for an admin user, which I don't know.
IrritableTech Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 (edited) Have you got access to your DNS? This method suggests you can find out the admin account details by adding dns records... https://support.google.com/a/answer/33561 Try visiting https://support.google.com/a/contact/admin_no_access?hl=en Edited December 3, 2014 by IrritableTech added extra info 1
dhicks Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 This method suggests you can find out the admin account details by adding dns records... We had to do that to get our Google Domain set up, it proved to be simple enough (just follow the instructions), and Google do actually have telephone support people to guide you through it if you have a problem. 1
