Good Morning One and All,

 

I am currently working through each part of a trial version of TASC Insight with the potential to purchase. and the question I would like help with is - Is there a way or option within Insight to enable users to be automatically logged out of Insight after a period of inactivity ?

 

Any help on this would be gratefully received.

I can't see a built in option however you can display logout reminders every X minutes.

Thank you very much for your reply I have the logout reminder already switched on, just thought there might be some way of automatically logging you out if left idle. Kind Regards

Not sure if I have a setting to tell it to or not... but mine does take me back to the login screen if I return to it and type again after a while.

That is the case here too. I think it's a feature you can't control.

Thanks Guys .....

I have placed the 'Log Out Bubble' setting to 5 then left it for 10 minutes and then tried clicking throughout the site but it did not return me back to the log in screen which I was hoping it would do .... Could you please advise what I am missing as you both are in the situation I want to be in

That button is just a reminder, not an actual timeout settings. I'm not sure at what point it kicks you out. I'll try and find out.

I have looked under Manage> Preferences> Login but could not see anything within
