JonZaman Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Hello all, I have a quick question. I have managed to map our staff home drives as they are all in one location. However our students home drives are slightly different as follows. Staff = \\qe-sr-c-fp1\users-staff\%username%\home Students = \\qe-c-sr-fp1\users-students\y2011\%username\home OR \\qe-c-sr-fp1\users-students\y2012\%username\home OR \\qe-c-sr-fp1\users-students\y2013\%username\home OR \\qe-c-sr-fp1\users-students\y2014\%username\home Is it possible to map these 4 locations as one drive using the percentages or not? Kind regards, Jon
beancole Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Hi Jon, I would just use %homedir% for all 1
JonZaman Posted December 2, 2014 Author Posted December 2, 2014 That's done the trick! Can't believe it was so easy haha. Thanks.
beancole Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Alternatively, For anyone else who comes accross this post you are probably better off using %HOMESHARE%%HOMEPATH% I recently had an issue with using %HOMEDIR% this, I think, is because homedir is a DOS thing. More environment variables here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Environment_variable)
nickbro Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 %homedir% is an AD property, the UNC home directory path, HAP+ uses %homedir%, %homeshare% isn't supported in HAP+
