Network Drives.

Hello Guys,

 

Sorry to bother you Gus, I am looking help if any one can help. Number if users in my company domain can not connect network chared drive when they are working from home. Even if they care connected trough VPN.

error pops up. Network path not found.

E.g: \\server name\users\??? or \\server name\department\sales.

I have tried to work around but no success.

Looking expert advice.

What happens if you try to connect to the IP of the server in question, e.g. \\ip address\users ?

Also, what happens if you ping the server from a machine on the VPN?

 

If you can connect to the IP address of the server but pinging the name doesn't go through, it could be a DNS issue.

Many Thanks for replay. I can RDP server remotly from home I can Ping Server when connected with VPN. the only issue can not access shared drives. I have checked network setting Firewall even disable the Trenmicro as well but no Success.
