TStandage Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Hello, I'm trying to deploy Lego We do education to the children netbooks. I converted the exe into the msi. But when I come to editing the gpo. I cant see the other options. They are all blocked out. Any ideas on how to see them and edit them. I'm logged in as the administrator as well!

Computer settings will deploy the program when no-one is logged on. Is there any specific reason you want it at logon though? And not just when the computer starts up Steve

sted Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 So how would I do that farim what youve got looks fine for install at startup assuming the msi works (converting exe to msi can be a black art) if youve never done gpo software deploy id get a known working msi first and try that something like acrobat reader or paint.net where its well documented

Domino Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 I would highly recommend you run the GPO on a test machine before pushing it live - it's just good practice to ensure it behaves as you expect. 1
